Quality and Compliance

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent body that regulates care provided in England by the NHS, local authorities, private companies and voluntary organisations.

The CQC carries out regular inspections of our services, with outcome measures including:

  • Ensuring care is centred on an individual's needs.
  • Ensuring care protects rights and safety.
  • Acting appropriately to eliminate poor quality care.
  • Promoting high quality care.

To ensure that you receive high standards of care, our nurse managers and field supervisors carry out regular spot checks on the care staff, subject to your consent, in your own home. We also undertake regular supervisions of all care staff together with annual appraisals.

We have a robust complaint and compliments procedure and all incidents reported to us are logged and ultimately dealt with by our Registered Nurse Manager.

Annually we send out a Homecare Questionnaire to gather your feedback, both positive and negative, on how we are doing in terms of meeting your needs. The questionnaires are vital in helping our management to shape and improve our services to you.
